Commissioned knitwear prototype from Kuura, Metsä Springs’s new sustainable wood-based fiber.

The dress is made of Finnish conifer wood, and has an irregular mock rib structure and a partially knitted flared hem. It is manufactured in collaboration with Knitwear Lab. The yarn is especially designed for this project, and the yarn development and dyeing process is done together with textile engineer Marja Rissanen at Aalto University.
